Owing to requests received at the ©ffice of Luther Place Memorial Church within the past week, an extra perform- anée of “The Other Wise Man” will be given Saturday night, December 29, in addition to the two performances al- ready scheduled for December 27 and 28,;at 8:30 o'clock, in the church audi- torjum. In the past three years hun- dreds of persons in the city have wit- nedsed the presentation in dramatic form of Dr. Henry Van Dyke’s Christ- mas dream legend. No admission fee is charged and no reservations are made. The presenta- tiohs are open to the public and are in the nature of & part of the city’s cele- bration of Christmas. An offering is taken up at all presentations to cover the actual cost of the productior. cach year. Headed by two prominent Washing- ton clergymen, the cast will include not less than 75 persons, representing many denominations and congregations other than that of Luther Place. Dr. George | g, M. Diffenderfer, pastor of the church, again will assume the role of the vener- able Hebrew rabbi. Dr. Earle Wilfley, pastor of Vermont Avenus Christian Church, for the first time will be heard as The Voice, in the final scenes of the drama. Other leading roles will be -played by Denis E.
