By the Assoclated Press. ATLANTA, November 21.—The At- lanta Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy, yesterday unanimously adopted the recommendation of Iis executive committee that the revision- ary interest in that portion: of Stone Mountain on which the Stone Moun- tain Memorial is being carved be re- turned to the donors, Sam H. Venable and associates. The revisionary interest was recently deeded to the Atlanta Chapter by Mr. Venable, Mrs. Walter Gordon Rope and Mrs. C. V. Orme, joint owners of Stone Mountain, on the grounds that the Stone Mountain Monumental Associa- tion in which the title was vested had failed to carry out certain stipulations of a contract when the property was deeded to it. It was claimed that the association had not completed the tentral group of the monument within the time specified and that the title had re- verted to the Venables. The recommendation as adopted de- clares that the Atlanta Chapter “de- sires to surrender its full claim” to the property through the revisionary deed and that the chapter will disclaim any title to the property. The board of trustees of the chapter, composed of 60 prominent women, was authorized to return the property to the grantors. On October 30 the chapter author- ized the trustees to bring proceedings with the Venables to recover title to the property. Members of the chapter sald yesterday’s action would rescind its previous decision to bring suit for recovery of the title. Mr. Venable last night declined to comment on the action of the chapter. Would Welcome Legation. BERLIN, November 21 (#).—The Ger- man government yesterday notified the Irish Free State of its willingness to have an Irish legation established in' Berlin: “Teeth soon white again,” writes Miss Helen B. Follett of Washington, D. C. “When I first started to smoke about five years ago I was horrified to find my teeth were taking on a yellowish tinge. I asked my dentist if he couldn’t suggest some way to prevent this—for I didn’t want to forego the pleasure of smoking. “He said: ‘Have you ever tried Pebeco?’ T had not—but you may be sure I hurried right down to the store and bought a tube. “A few days with Pebeco and I soon had my teeth looking.white Pebeco’s sharp, keen tang and the slightly salty taste. It is so refreshing. I get a big thrill being confident my teeth are admired and that I can laugh and talk without feeling embarrassed.” Very sincerely yours, Heren B. Henry O'Malley, fish commissioner for the Commerce Department, explain- ed this today in his annual report by saying that the Government had made progress this year in hatching fish from eggs and in maintaining them in nurs- eries until they get to be three or four inches long. Equipped with this extra length be- fore being put in streams, lakes or ocean areas, it is the belief of the fisheries workers that the young trout, salmon or whatever species they are, will survive to dinner table size in far greater numbers than before. Mr. O'Malley pointed out that during this last fiscal year, nurseries co-operating with the Government have increased in number from 55 to 86, providing the extra space for rearing young fish. The extraordinary number of 7,000,000, 000 young fishes and young eggs went out from the Government's stations to build up the fish supply. Notwith- standing, some of the principal sources of food fish, Mr. O'Malley said, are showing alarming declines. He mentioned the halibut fisheries of the North Pacific coast, estimating that the yield from the banks they | formerly frequented had dropped to 40 per cent of what it was a few years ago. ° HIT-AND-RUN DRIVER SOUGHT BY POLICE Colored Man Is Hunted for Flee- ing Scene After Fatal Accident.
