NEW YORK, October 17.—The Loen~ ing Aeronautical Engineering Corpora- tion, one of the largest buildess of amphibian planes, was merged yeder- day with the Keystone Aircraft Cor- poration of Bristol, Pa., makers of nil- itary “bombers” and trainng airerait. The merger will be effected throwgh an exchange of all outstanding shares of the Loening Corporation for Key- stone shares, Richard F. Hoyt, chak- man of the Keystone's board of dires- tors, announced. Grover Loening, head of the company that bears his name, will serve in a consulting capacity to the new com- pany, while his brother Albert, asso- ciated with him, will be an officer. Keystone now is building a large air transport ship as its first commercial product. The merger is reported in line with the company’s development in this field.
