32 AFGHANISTAN KING REACHES LONDON Ruler’s Costume Outshines King George's at Color- ful Welcome. By the Associated Press. LONDON, March 13 .—King Amullah of Afghanistan, in a tunic of sky-blue satin and flaming crimson trousers. decked with more military trappings than London has ever seen assembled on one man, outshone King George and | all the other officials who gathered at Victoria Station today to welcome him | to Great Britain for a 20-day visit. Queen Souriya, swathed in sables, appeared a demure little person and | was somewhat shy as she went uu-oughl the ceremonies.
