Plans for a linen shower to be given for the benefit of Sibley Hospital on April 13 will be made at a meeting of the Sibley Hospital Guild tomorrow | morning in Rust Hall. The meeting will be called at 10:45 o'clock. men for thelr members and additional ones_for those who desire them. Mrs. Joy Elmer Morgan, general chairman of the shower, will announce the commit- tees. Mrs. A. S. Henderson, vice president of the guild and chairman of the pur- chasing committee, will submit samples of the food table and bedside lam| which will be bought for the patients with the pi of the shower. It is estimated that it will require 90 food tables at $10 each and 58 bed lamps at $8 each. A special feature of the meeting will be readings. She will give several se- lections. Dr. John Howard Shakespeare, noted _church worker, died Monday night. His son, Geoffrey Hitheraze Shakespeare, was formerly private secretary to David Lioyd George. Rev. J. H. Shakespeare was secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and Ircland, 1898-1924; European sec- retary of the Baptist World Alliance, resident of the National Council of ! vangelical Free Churches, 1916, and moderator of the Federal Council of Evangelical Free Churches of England, 1919-21. He was Force Board. He was born in 1857.
