Patterson, 57, until recently su- perintendent of Gallinger Hospital, who dled of heart disease in the Alexandria Hospital Tuesday, were conducted at Gawler's chapel at 2 oclock this afternoon. Knights Templar services were conducted by the Masons. Interment, with full military honors, was in Arlington Cemetery. Maj. Patterson had retired from the Army in 1920, after 20 years' service. His duties took him all over the world. He had served in the Philip- pines, in South Sea Islands and in China, and was stationed at Fort Hunt,' Va., at the time of his retire- ment. 1le was succeeded s super- intendent of Gallinger Hospital by Dr. Edgar A. Bocock. MRS. M. BRESNAHAN DIES. Sister of Deputy Chief Keliher Had Been Long IlL Mrs, Margaret Bresnahan, 67, sister of Deputy Fire Chief James Keliher and a lifelong resident of Capitol Hill, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas McKenna, 619 Twelfth street northeast, last night after a long illnes: Until a few weeks ago Mrs, Bresnahan resided at 810 D reet northeast, the house in which she was born. She was a member of the Catholic Women's Benevolent Society. Mrs. Bresnahan was the widow of Michael Bresnahan.
