The Masons of the District of Columbia, officers and members of the ] several Masonic clubs, will attend divine service at the Washington Heights Presbyterlan Church, Kalo . rama road east of Columbia road October 30, at 8 p.m. The club mem ! bers will assemble at 7:30 p.m. at the west entrance to Temple Heights on Connecticut avenue and will march to | the church. Brightwood Commandery, No. Knights Templar, Comdr. Fred E Blood, will escort the club mem- bers. The Shrine, Maj. Gen. Amos A. Fries, U. S. A, has been invited to furnish the music. The Grand Master of Masons of the District of Columbia and other Masonic dig- nitaries have been invited to attend. . Capt. Cheney L. Bertholf, U. S. A, second vice president of the leagu James A. West, third vice president, and Lynn H. Troutman, past presi- dent_of the league and chairman of the Educational Foundation trustees, have been invited to attend, as well as all club officers and many members. Rev. Dr. John C. Palmer, pastor of the church and Grand Chaplain of the church and grand chaplain of Columbia, wiil officiate and preach the sermon. In the event of inclement weather, the clubs, the escort and music will proceed directly to the church instead of assembling at the west entrance to Temple Heights. The annual meeting of the Sunday school of Petworth Baptist Church ‘was held last Tuesdav evening in the Sunday school auditorium.
