Cask Blows Up in Steam- ing Process. By the Associated Pre LOUISVILLE, Ky., September 16.— Two men were in a dying condition, and two women and another man were suffering from burns today as a result of a whisky barrel explosion last night at a dence here. Jeff B. Robertson, jr., and John D. Fulton, 7, were so badly burned that they e not_expected to live. Clarence Griner, 25, occupant of the house in which the explosion occurred, was burned on the arms and neck trying to save Robertson. Mrs. Vernia Griner, 25, his wife, was burned on the legs and arms, and Miss Helen Ashcraft suffered minor burns. Griner said that he and Robertson were steaming a whisky barrel so that they could use it for wine. Robertson poured cold water into the barrel while it was sitting over a gas stove.
