Zachary Spearing of Louisiana, arrived in Washington yvesterday from New Orleans and is at the Mayflower. The military attache of the Argen- tine embassy and Mme. de Zuloaga closed their apartment at the ®ay- flower and left Washington yesterday for Southhampton, Long Island, where they will remain for three weeks. The secretary of the Czechoslovakian legation, Dr. Peregrin Fisa, has re- turned to Washington from an exten- sive motor trip through the New Eng- land States. Mme. Fisa, who accom- panied Dr. Fisa as far as Boston, is now on Bustins Island, Me., where she will remain until the middle of next month. The attache of the Cuban embassy, Senor Don Cayetano de Quesada, re- turned Tuesday from a vacation in his home in Cuba. He will leave ‘Washington in a few days to repre- sent the President of Cuba at the annual convention of United Spanish ‘War Veterans, to be held in Detroit. The chiet of staff and Mrs. Charles P. Summerall entertained at an in- formal supper party last evening, when their guests were Admiral and Mrs. Edward W. Eberle, Maj. Gen. and Mrs. John A. Lejeune, Mrs. Frederick Dent Grant, Brig. Gen. George Barn- hardt, Lieut. Col. Ulysses S. Grant, 3d, and Maj. Reginald L. Foster. Mrs. Summerall has as her guest for a few days, Mrs. Smedley McNair. The newly appointed military at- tache of the United States embassy in London, Col. John R. Thomas, and Mrs. Thomas will sail Saturday aboard the Leviathan for the former's mew post. Col. Senor Gonzalo Arango Mentejo of Cuba, accompanied by Senor Tomas Galdoi, will sail Saturday on the Levi- athan for a six-week tour of Kurope. Senor Montejo, who is a tenor, is well known in music circles, and next Winter expects to give a_recital in Washington. Miss Helen M. Mr. and Mrs. Bolling Are Back From Southern Trip. Mr. and Mrs. Julian B. Bolling of Cleveland Park have returned from a motor trip through Virginia, Tennes- see and Kentucky. Mr. and Mrs. Willlam C.
