Westbrook, president of the Potomac Conference of Seventh Day Adventists, which includes the District of Columbi: its territory, has accepted a call to the presidency of the Southern Oregon | Conference of that denomination and will leave for Eugene, Oreg., the head- He will succeed Rev. J. S. Rouse, who resigned be cause of ill-health. Rev. Mr. Westbrook has been presl dent of the Potomac Conference since its organization three years ago, hav ing come from the presidency of the Virginia. Conference when that State and the District Conference were united. Entering the ministry about 20 years ago. after leaving the Washington Missionary College, he has been pastor of churches in Derver, Buffalo, Roch- ester, Hornell and Corning, N. Y., and president of the Southern New Eng land and West Virginia Conferences. There are 22 churches in the South- ern Oregon Conference, over which he will preside.
