Michael O'Keefe, Philippine Scouts, retired, who died at Walter Reed General Hospital Sunday, were held at the Knights of Columbus hut on the hos- pital reservation this morning at 9 o'clock. Burial was in Arlington Na- ticnal Cemetery Maj. O'Keefe was born in Ireland in 1869. He served in the ranks of the 24 Cavalry for several years and reached the grade of sergeant major in that regiment in 1905. In March of that year he was commissioned as major, United States Guards.
