Smith and Thomas were arrested by Detectives Cox, King and Murpky, and are said to have told the detec- tives they first met in the Federal prison in Atlanta, Ga., where they were serving terms for offenses com- mitted in this city. Detectives report the recovery of wearing apparel and other property valued at more than $1,000, approxi- mately one-fifth of the loot taken from | the houses.
