Five thousand Shriners on their an- nual pilgrimage to the Imperial Coun- cil sesston, to be held in Philadelphia June 1, 2 and 3. will stop over In Washington tomorrow, Sunday and Monday and be rovally entertained by Almas Temple. The gathering af the Shriners is expected to bring a re- minder of the colorful convention of} 1923, ; Potentate Charles D. Shackelford announces that a tent has been erect- ed near Union Station, where refresh- ments will be served the Shriners and arrangements made for taking them on automobile tours of the city. . A special reservation has been made for the Shriners at Arlington on Memorial day. The Masons will lay a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldfer. Mrs. Charles D. Shackelford, wife of the potentate, as chief hostess, will receive the Shrine ladies at the Ra- leigh Hotel, which will be headquar- ters for the potentates and their rep- resentatives. Information booths will be installed at Union Station and the New Ebbitt and Annapolis Hotels. Not only will the Shriners be en- tertained when they stop- over here on their way to the Philadelphia con- clave, but also on June 4, on their way home.
