NEW YORK, February 26.—Prices were a shade lower in the bond mar- ket today, influenced perhaps by the weakness in stocks and perhaps by the trend toward higher money. The lcsses in the high-grade invest- ment group, however, were very small, the principal selling appearing in the second grade and more specu- lative issues. Foreign bonds weak- ened slightly also with a few con- spicuous exceptions. French citles s | were from % to % of a point lower and Seine 7s dropped back 4 point French 7% at one time were down nearly a point. French 7s were bet- ter supported. Brazil issues gave ground, but the Hungarian municipal 7%s were firm, and so were the Ger- man 7 The declines registered in the high grade domestic investment bonds av- eraged apout a quarter of a point in such issues at Atchison General 4s, Baltimore and Ohio 4s and Canadlan Pacific 4s.
