Men who've never found the job they could do and do 3t well. They have failed at selling they have failed at laying brick; others nafled the picayunes, but they never learned the trick. Yet no doubt there is a place where the fail- ures well might shine, if they could but find a trace of the same and get in line. They don't know what they could do, so we see them sadly romp up the brae and down the slough, to the poorhouse by the swamp. Some have failed through bitter vears, falled at everything they tried, then became &reat auctioneers, cutung swaths ex- tremely wide. Some were loaded to the guards with the grief that failure knows, the they found that they were bards and to gorgeous heights they rose. There's a task for every man, suited to his mind and frame: he might ride in his sedan if he could But he has to go on foot with the other heartsick men, where the down-and-outs are put, in the poorhouse in the glen. For so many men are blind to the work they ought to do; evervthing's a dreary grind, every calling they _pursue. There's a job for Richard Roe that would fill his soul with glee, but its name he doesn't know, and that berth he’ll never see. Many men who might excel in the jobs they've never found seek the poorhouse in the dell, where the paupers’ wails resound. - One of the most remarkable res- taurants in the world is to be found in Constantinople. Its waitresses are almost without exception princesses, duchesses, countesses and other titled refugees from Russia. NEW and USED || Office Furniture Save 50% and More | H. BAUM & SON 464 Penna.
