The Mount Pleasant Congregational Church has made several improve- ments for the coming year, under the direction of the pastor, Rev. Dr. Wal- ter Amos Morgan. It has added to its paid staff two new workers, Mr. and Mrs. Clay J. Daggett. Mr. and Mrs. Daggett, who are from Hastings, Nebr., have been em- ployed as director of religious educa. lon and director of expressional ac- vities, respectively. Since the age of 16, when Mr. Dag- gett taught his first year of school in Nebraska, he has been constantly in practice or in further preparation in religious and educational fields. He has completed a course in the Chris. tian denominational school, Cotner College, at Lincoln, Nebr., and a 4- year college course at the State Teachers' College at Kearney, Nebr. Both he and Mrs. Daggett now are taking graduate work at American University in religious education and soclology. Mrs. Daggett has also completed her college course in the State Teachers’ College at Kearney, and has been first assistant in the de- partment of education there.
