Thousands of pamphlets outlining the Board of Education’s position re- garding high school secret societies were distributed to high school pupils today by the principals and teachers. The pupils were advised to take the pamphlets home for the information of their parents. The pamphlets point out that the hoard is opposed to high schoul fra- ternities and sororities because their membership is narrowly exclusive, self perpetuating, and secret. They also warn the pupils of the penalties for Joining an unapproved organization.
