Formerly Owned The Oaks, Famous Georgetown Estate. Mrs. Lucla E. Blount, 84 years old, widow of the late Col. Henry F. Blount, died at her home, 3028 Q street, last night after a lingering {ll- ness. Mrs. Blount had long been a_resi- dent of Washington. She was form- erly the owner of The Oaks, an es- tate at Thirty-first and R streets, which is one of the show places of Georgetown. She disposed of the property about four years ago. She_is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Shippen of Boston and Mrs. Thurlow White of Alexandria; a son, Walter Blount of New York, and a sister, Mre. E. E. de Graff of New York. Funeral arrangements have not been completed, awalting arrival of out-of-town relatives. Mrs. Chandler is permitted to resume her maiden name, Anna M. Mischou. In her complaint the wife alleged that Chandler was still married to El- sle A. Schaeffer of Baltimore when he wooed and won her. Later, the bill declared, Chandler went to California and never returned to Washington, to the best of the wife’s knowledge.
