Philips Hyatt, 601 Irving street, while impersonating a bread man, was arrested with one dozen half-gal- lon jars of alleged liquor in his pos- session in Walsh's near-bear saloon early yesterday morning by Officers McQuade, Holmes, Thayer, Barbee and Christenson and charged with trans. portation and illegal possession. Hyatt drove up te the saloon n his car and after looking carefully around, entered the store with a bread basket on his arm. The officers fol- lowed him into the place and after arresting him found the liquor in the | basket.
