Harvard astronomers presume that | it is Wolfe's periodic comet, discovered | in 1884, which reappears about every six years. The Copenhagen cable is the first news of the come xth re- appearance for which astronomers have been watching for The comet was described as of the fifteenth magnitude and visible only with a large telescope near and west of the square of Pegasus. Hundreds of tourists and many other spectators were alarmed to- day when they saw a fire engine at work in front of the Capitol Building and streams of water from hose handled by the firemen shooting out of the upper stories of that historic building.
