LOUIS, March 17.—Funeral services for Mrs. Joseph Pulitzer, wife of the publisher of the St. Louls Post-Dispatch, were held yesterday at the family residence, “Lone Tree,” on Barnes Road, St. Louis County. A private service was held later at Bellefontaine Cemetery, With a reading from the Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church by the Rev. Chester E. Jenny of the First Presbyterfan Church. . Mr. Pulitzer, who was on a fishing trip off the coast of Florida when Mrs. Pulltzer died in New York as the result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident, arrived in St. Louis this morning. TO “GAS” BUREAU CLERKS Chlorine Chamber to Cure Colds of Arlington Building Workers. The fifth chlorine chamber for cure of colds and respiratory diseases to be established in Washington has been set up in the Veterans' Bureau, under the direction of Col. Harry L. Gllchrist of the Chemical Warfare Service, who has pronounced it “the very latest. and sclentifically the most perfect equipment avgllable anywhere for gassing colds.” The chlorine chamber will not be used for the treatment of Govern- ment beneficiaries, but for employes of the Veterans' Bureau, Bureau of the Budget and the alien property custodian, all of whom are housed in the Arlington Building.
