McCabe had been asked to appear to- day before the Bronx County grand Jury, which is investigating the issuance of ‘marriage licenses to minors. The deputy clerk, however, was in no under accusation or suspicton in col nection with the “child-bride” inves tigation, which was intended to estab- lish that the present marriage laws were working unsatisfactorily.
