NEW HOTEL TO OPEN HERE NEXT MONTH The Axmapolis, 400-Room Structure at 11th and H Streets, Near- ing Completion. Announcement is made by the Ward- man Construction Company that Hotel Annapolis will be opened formally some time next month. This newest addition to Washingten's hotel build- ings fronts on Kleventh, H and Twelfth streets, and occuples prac- tically all of that square mot utilized by the terminul buildings of the Washington, Baltimore and Annapolis Electric Railway. The Hotel Annapolls Is eleven sto- rles high and isx constructed of steel and concrete throughout, with facings of llmestone and tapestry brick. It is designed in three wings, affording outside exposure to all its rooms. The main entrance and central lobby are on the H street slde, with side en- trances ‘and uler lobbies on the Eleventh and Twelfth street fronts. On the ground floor of the structure are 23 large stores, well lighted and with exceptionally high ceilings. A feature of these stores is the fireproof and burglar-proof basement.
