By the Aasociated Press, DENVER, Col., February 1 Henry Collbran, pioneer mining man and railroad operator of Colorado, died yesterday in London, according to a cablegram received by his son, H. E. Collbran of Denver. Mr. Coll- ‘'bran was noted in the development of Colorado, although his interests were world-wide. Henry Collbran was born in Lon- don, England, in 1852, and came to America in 1881. He was in charge of various departments of the Chi- cago, New Orleans and Texas Pacific Rafiroad between 1881 and 1888, after which until 1893 he was general man- ager of the Colorado Midland Rall- road. He built the Cripple Creek Rail- way and became president of the Colorado Terminal Railway, which posi- tion he held from 1893 to 1896. Mr. Collbran went to Korea in 1896 and the first steam railway in Korea was bullt under his supervision. Parker, 49 years old, a practicing physician in this city for 20 years, died at his residence, 1811 Q street, yesterday morning. Death was due to heart disease. Dr. Parker was on the consulting staff and a member of the board of trustess of the Emergency Hospital He taught medicine at Howard and Georgetown Universities and was for several years a visiting physician at Garfleld Hospital.
