WOMAN REMAINS PRISONER IN HOME Detective Watches for At- tempt at Violence by Mrs. M. J. Budlong. By the Associated Press. NEW YORK, February 16.—A pri- vate detective employed by Milton J. Budlong, vice-president of the North Central Texas Oil Co., today was still Keeping watch outside the Budlong home, where Mrs. Budlong has been in voluntary imprisonment since last Friday. She has not had any food during the past three days, so far as knpown. HAGERSTOWN, Md,, February 16.— When the name of Willlam Coulter, farmer, and one of tho pillars of the Brownsville Brothren Church, was presented to the grand jury, of which Ret. F. Berry Plummer is foreman, the evidence indicated that when Coulter wasn't attending church he was moonshining. So the minister ordered_indictment, and Coulter was arrested. He was released in $1,000 bail. The farmer declared the indictment || was a ‘“frame-up,” the work of enemies who had long tried to “get him.” There are two factions In the Sandyhook district, in which Coulter resides. Each is charged by the other to be led by men who pose as farm- ers and church men, but who make a livelihood from their- moonshining activities.
