Ball of the Royal Mounted Police at Banff Sunday. Andrews, former cashier of the Manhattan branch of the New York Life Insur- ance Company, who s charged with embeezling $12,000, had been & resi- dent of the little mountain resort nearly six weeks. He was registered at the hotel as Willlam Armstrong. Inspector Ryan of the mounted llce, received a telegram from New York Saturday, asking for the ar- rest of Andrews. The telegram con. tained s description, an importent item being that the left side of Andrews’ face twitched when he waw axcited Corp. Ball, who !s said to know every person in Banff, was given the messago. He rscalled meeting & newcomer with this affliction.
