It was found that valllable instruction be- ing given to the classes Wednesday nights was lost to the men of Bat- terx C. The new plan will result in a slight crowding of the armory drill nights, but Maj. Burns is of the opin- fon that the slight inconvenience could better be suffered than the loss of the instruction. The Medical Corps, under Capt. Stewart M. Gray- son, which has also been drilling Tuesday nights, will drill in the fu- ture Wedn2sday nights. Maj. Gen. Stephan, commanding, has instructed all commanding of- ficers of the District National'Guard to make a close check of all material and Government property in their possession. ~Col. Louls C. Brinton is in charge of the inventory of proper- ty in the 260th Coast Artillery, Lieut. Raymond F. Peak, the military po- lice, and Lieut. Col. Harry E. Glad- 121st Engineers, will have charge of the checkl property in the po Engineers. Col. Brinton began an accurate check-up in the 260th Coast Artil- lery on the drill nights of last week, and has announced that he hopes to have the work completed at an early date.
