'DRY AGENTS TAKE TWO LIQUOR CARS Three :Prisoners Captured by Officers on Baltimore Pike, Two Escape. 4 Special Dispatch to The Star. BALTIMORE, November bitlon agents of the W fiying squadron resumed operations last night on automoblles transport- ing liquor on the Washington boule- vard and seized two large touring cars and three prisoners. The first arrest was made when yrohibition agents stopped to inves- tigate the presence of an automobile parked at the clde of the road. Two men ran as the agents drove up and escaped in the darkness. the car was found 155 gallons lcohgl. Both car and contents were- confiscated. The owner is be- lieved to bc a prominent Washing- tonfan known to the dry agents as a wholesale bootlegger. Next came the capture of Clarence Lee and his sister Mary, both of iyattsville, and Clarence Dickson of Arentwood, all colored. They were iving on Washington boulevard when passing dry officers noted suspicious appearing boxes In the tonneau of their car. Four cases of six gallons cach of corn whisky and car were confiscated and the occupants ar- zested. AT Belgenlmd Floated, Sails. SOUTHAMPTON, November 22.-— The liner Belgenland, which struck 24 mud band in the Scheldt River Thursday, sailed for New York this afternoon, after having been placed 1 dry dock and found to be none the worse for her experience.
