. STADIUM MAGNET FOR STAR GAMES Capital Likely to Get Foot Ball Classics at C. U. Field to Seat 60,000. ‘With the opening on October 4 at the Catholic University of the new stadium that e an ultimate seating capacity of 60,000 persons, it is hoped by those interested that Washington will take its place among the other large cities of the East as a site for great athletic contests, and that it will eventually be the means of helping to make Washington a national athletic center. The new stadium will be officially dedicated Secretary of the Navy Wilbur and Maj. Gen. John A. Lejeune, commandant of the United States Ma- rine Corps.
