E_EVENING STAR, WASHINGTON, D. C, THURSDAY, MARCH 13, 10%4. ' 2OR MORE THAN FORT Y—SIX YEARS The Palais Royal, with Abram Lisner at the helm, has served the daily personal and family needs of the citizenry of Washington and its en- § virons, with the very sincere purpose in mind of serving efficiently and well and of meriting the confidence and patronage of the public. How well these worthy principles have been carried out is attested by the success of the store and by its hosts of friends and customers. In announcing the retirement of Mr. Lisner, it is important to state that the original sound principles of merchandising will be maintained. There will be no change in the name, nor in the character or policy of the store. It will continue to be operated as a fully equipped, modern department store—A Bigger and Better Palais Royal—carrying unusually complete and desirable assortments of moderately priced merchandise and following the most advanced merchandising methods. The present organization of The Palais Royal remains mtact The store will be managed, as formerly, by A. C. Case, who has directed its activities for the past six years. As the growth of the business necessitates, the organization will be augmented to the point that every requirement of the shopping public will be satisfactorily met. The new regime will strive to continue to merit confidence and good will, and pledges in return good merchandlse at fair prices and polite and courteous service. A C Case, V" L : S S.
