This great.and far-reaching affiliation was made possible by the good-will of our customers, the quality of our products and the astonishing growth in the de- mand for them—plus the undeniable leadership estab- lished and maintained by The American Oil Company. This affiliation means that we have taken the next forward step in our unceasing effort to serve the public as they would want to be served. It places at our com- mand unlimited quantities of the highest grade crude oils, with necessary pipe lines, refineries, tank ships and other facilities. It makes it possible for us to produce petroleum products in unlimited quantities—in fine qual- ity—and it also enables us to rapidly expand our mar- keting area.
