Cutshaw of Ta- koma Park, Md., into the shooting of several valuable dogs on Carroll avi nue between Lincoln and Boyd ave- nues, including a German police dog. The attention of the bailiff was called yesterday morning about 10 o'clock, when he received a telephone message stating that severa: dogs had been killed in the vicinity stated ' | He inquired who did the shooting and who It was talking over the phone. The response was that it was a resi- dent of Maryland, whereupon the re- ceiver was hung up. Bailiff Cutshaw visited the scene ‘and found three dogs, including the German police dog, owned by George Scriven, who resides at the corner of Lincoln and Maple avenues and is employed In the District Police Court. The dog, it is stated, is valued at §500. All of the dogs were immedi- ately burled by the bailiff.
