A singing; and, most elaborate of all, & circus scene with a jolly clown, a dainty ballet dancer, a tight-rope walker, an elephant and a small dog, which did clever tricks, The marvel of all the scenes was the life-like postures and which the little dolls fell whe by wires and the way their very ex- pressions seemed changed by just the movement of head, hand, “puppeteer,” showed originality combined with a fine sense of artistry in the group of scenes which were pre- sented on this program and she re- ceived the warmest appreciation from her audience. Miss Sewall is a native Washingtonian, but has been absent from the city for some time. She is the daughter of the late Rev.
