‘SOCIETY: Miss Amanda Mayo and Lieut. H. D. Boyden United in'Marriage February 26 —Many Weddings of Interest. \ Miss Amanda Mayo, daughter of Commander and Mrs. Chester G. Mayo, 2010 Wyoming avenue north- west, was quietly married to Lieut. Hayno is Boyden, United States Atarine Corps, Monday afternoon, ¥ebruary 26, in the Bethlehem Chapel of the Lpiscopal Cathedral. Rev. Cannon De Vrles officiated. Licut. Boyden's sudden orders to Chanute Fleld, Rantoul, 111, hastened ¢ho marriage by several months. Lieut. and ‘Mrs. Boyden are now at mome at Rantoul. This mariage brings together sev- eral service familles. Licut Boyden is a nephew of Brig. Gen. Richmond Yearson Davis, U. 8. A, and also of Mr. Richmond Pearson of Rich- mond Hill, Asheville, N. C., former "minister to Persia Commander Mayo Mr. Guy M. Yost served the bride- groom as best man. The wedding was witnessed only by the families of the bride and bride- groom. Mr. and Mrs. Huntt will be at home after March 15 at the home of the bridegroom’s parents. The marriage of Miss Helen M. Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Long. to Mr. Walter G. Maholm took place Wednesday in the Mount Vernon Methodist Episcopal Church. The ceremony was perform- ed by Rev. C. G. Chappell.
