CHURCH PLANS T0 AID STUDENTS OF DRAMA Episcopalians Will Hold Meeting March 9 to Discuss Ways and Means. Announcement was made at the meeting of the Sunday School Tnsti- tute of the Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Washington last Tuesday night of the proposed organization in the interest of religious pageantry land educational drama. A meeting will be held at Epiphany Church on March 9 at 11 a.m. of all those who are Interested in amateur theatricals or educational pageantry. Several persons of experience will address this meeting and_an attempt will be made fo elect a “council” or central bodv to consider the whole quostion and decide how best to helpy those nerding assistance. It may be found wise to establish a library ot standard religious pageants and plays (rfl!n which those intending to “put on” an entertainment can so- lect. their materfal. Costumes and properties secured for one play may be loaned to other churches. Some- times a chorus or dancing group from one organization will be glad to help out zome other organization. or in Sunday schools where there is no organization for pageantry, a play may be given to stimulate interest in this line of educational work.
