Of the joriginal thirty-one members two are |living today and are still members of the church. They are Mrs. Marion McLean, 507 A street southeast, and Mrs. Mary Taylor, who now lives in Chicago, but maintains her afiliation with the church. In 1888 the adjoin- ing lot was purchased and an addi- tional bullding erected, costing $11,- When the present pastor, Rev. John Compton Ball, was called, in 1903, he found a church of 361 members, with two small bujldings. He appointed a building committee in 1904 and pegan the accumulation of funds, which re- sulted in the erection of the present Dbeautiful structure in 1911, which was dedicated January 14, 1912, Tts value is $92,000 and it seats 1500 people.
