The United (States Department of Agriculture Post. No. 824, Veterans of Foreign Wars, is to be visited at usl meeting, next Friday ecvening at § o'clock, in Perpetual building hall, by Gen. Anton Stephen. commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the District, and his staff. A large number of recruits will be initiated at the meeting. Nomina- tions for officers will be made for the coming year, also the question of & new nmame for the post to cover allj the government departments in the federal service, owing to the post baving amended its by-laws so that all government cmployes ellgible to join may become members. At the November meeting of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Post, American Legion. the election of delegates and alternates to the department convention in December took place.
