CONTRAGT AWARD Amended Bill for Injunction Against Accepting Bid for Eastern High School. George Hyman, by leave of court, vesterday filed an amended bill for in- Junction against the District Commis- sioners to prevent the dwarding of the contract to George E. Wyne, 2 rival bidder, for the construction of the Eastern High School building. One of the amendments Is the making of the proceeding a suit by himself as a taxpayer interested in the disburse- ment of the additional money called for by the Wyne bid, which the Com- missioners have accepted, as well as a rejected bidder. James L. Parsons, whom Mr. Hyman proposed to assoclate with himself in the construction of the building, to- day joined in the amended bill as co- plaintiff with Mr. Hyman. Mr. Par- sons also appears in his capacity as a taxpayer through former Commis- sloner W. Gwynn Gardiner. Court Hears Argumentns. Justice Bailey heard arguments by Mr. Gardiner and by Corporation i Counsel Stephens on the motion of the District Commissioners to dis- miss the bill, and on their answer to the rule to show cause why the injunction should not be issued. The matter was taken under advisement by the court. A feature of the amended bill is a telegram from former Engineer Com- missioner Kutz from Cincinnati, Ohio, to Commissioner Keller, sent at the request of Hyman. Under date of November 10, the former Commis- sioner vouches for the qualifications of Hyman to do the work.
