Dr. Conaty will attend the consecration ceremonies of Bishop Monahan at Wilming- ton, Del., tomorrow. ‘The new year book and Law School circu- lar has just been issued and is ready for distribution. The landscape gardeners are at work on the grounds about the new dormitory buiid- ing, and in a skort time the grounds will present a beautiful appearance. Sunday evening last Dr. Conaty delivered an address before the St. Vincent de Paui Society, Washington conference. The Ethnological Museum, in charge of Dr. Hoffman, is making rapid progress in the arrangement of specimens, and it will shortly be opened to the public. While the collection is small, and practically in its in- fancy, it is exceedingly interesting on ac- count of many oriental antiquities, espe- cially the Assyrian tablets, and Egyptian relics, which have been deposited by Prof. Hyvernat. This gentleman has aiso placed in the museum a number of valuable manu- scripts of oriental literature. At the meeting of the Shakespearean Seminar Thursday a paper was read by Mr. Donaid McKimon on ‘Hamlet and the Di- vine Right of Kings. Howard University. De Schweinitz, dean ef the veterinary school, has been issued in pam- phlet form. The medical school has recently pur- chused a large snatomical figure of a man drawing a bow, for use in the study of the muscles. The figure is a tritle over life size, and the vositicn shows the mus- cular expansion on one sids of the body and the contraction on the other. Prof. Ramsey, who was injured last Sat- urday in attempting to stop a runaway horre, is again in attendance at the school. Georgetown University. The May devotions this week have been conducted by the rector, Rev. J. Havens Richards, who has given talks each even- ing this week in the chapel.
