Yesterday afternoon the diseussion of the meth- ods of correlation had been continued. This morning at the opening of the session French seemed to be the order of the day. A presen- tation of some valuable books was made and Prof. Gandry responded in = few appropriate remarks. It is an interesting thing at the meetings of the congress to notice the methods purmed at speechmaking. When an address is to be made delegates of ail nationalities take the platform naturally, but im a discussion where 8 few remarks of any sort are to be delivered most of the foreign delegates take the platform, while the Americans usually stand by theiz seats.
