Tne members of ny Council represent about 5,000,000 of peo- ple. ——— Fatat Acctpent.—Yesterday, Mr. Adolph Eisenbeiss, a well-known weiss beer brewer of this city, on Pennsylvania avenue, between lth and i3th streets, went tothe marsbes near Benning’s bridge guoning, taking with him bis son, 4 little boy aged alont nine years. In their walk through the low groands they came toaditeh which the son passed easily, and the father banded the gun to his son. presenting the breech. He neglected to umeock the piece before doing so, and his littieson in taking it grasped the trigger, discharging the entire load of shot into bis father’s groin. The little fellow immediately started for help, and Mr. Stone, a farmer in the vicinity. went with him tothe spot, and seeing the condition of the wounded man, obtained & wagon and with the aid of some others put him in it to bring bim to the city for surgical aid, but Eisenbeiss expired in & few minutes afterwards. The bxly was brought to bis residence in this city, wrere the distress of ‘ife and children was truly heart-rending.
