Wm. and Donohue & Co., for plumbing, waa vend and passed. A resolution from Council, in favor of cer- tain persons for printing, book-binding, &c., was taken up. Mr. Berry moved to amend _by striking out the bill ef the Daily Times. The amendment was adopted, atter which the resolution was aesed. MYA Council resolution, providing for a toot- way on 3d street, south side, between Freder- 3ck and Maret streets, was read and passed. The resolution establishing licenses, &c., ‘Was retnrned from Council adopted, with an amendment striking out that portion allowing ten days for the payment of fines for non-pro- curement of licenses.
