About fifty C © students at Oxford who are ationing at Hod- desdon have riled the citizens of the latter town by their adoption of baggy Oxford trousers of the very latest type. So extreme are the styles that the Chinamen are wearing that the resi- dents of Hoddesdon have taken to “guying’ the Chinese. They have better feet and ankles than most women of oth- er nations and they are determined to make the most of them. They are getting away from eccentric shoe styles favoring less conspicu- ous models where color harmonizes with the frock and lines harmonize with the shapeliness of the foot.
