SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 1925 - Che Casper Daily Cribune ASPer and the Y means of well directed energy in the development of its natural resources, a little western frontier town has grown rapidly, prospered greatly, and won an outstanding position in the industrial life of the nation. Trade center of a tremendous ‘agricultural area in which development on a new and vast . scale is promised; gateway point on the main line of a tourist-traffic which may be fairly re- garded as one of Wyoming’s greatest indus- tries—Casper may well view the past with great satisfac- tion in accom- plishment and look to the fu- ture with con- fidence. Our growth has been concurrent, our interests mutual, and our fortunes inter-dependent each upon the other. We,have been neighbors and friends and each has prospered because friendship is the only correct basis for our mutual prosperity and success. Burlington In Casper’s growth, progress, and prosperity, THE BURLINGTON ROUTE has always been an important contributing factor. The map shows how THE BURLINGTON places Casper in close commercial touch with the greatest market cities of the mid-west — Denver, Omaha, Kansas City, Chicago, and St. Louis—and how this railroad and its associated lines function efficiently in the wide distribution of Casper’s re- gional products and in thetrans- port of the world’s com- moditiestoCas- per from the ports of the At- lantic Sea- board, the Gulf and the Pacific Northwest. PAGE THREE The Burlington System is amply equipped to meet all traffic demands upon it as to freight and passenger service and is operated with a full sense of its obligation to shippers and the traveling public.
