The cast which took in “The Sing- ing Soul” at the high school last night were adjudged the best of the four casts presenting four different one act p'ays on the same evening and for that reason received the prize of $6. by the Casper Kiwanis club. ‘The members of the cast included Mildred Muller, Helen Livingston, Be netta Holman, Ernest Sheppard, Do mingo Manzon James Smith and Joe Shikany. “The Singing Soul” is a very tm: pressive Chinese play that is written sround a girl who desires to have a singing, voice that will be immortal. ‘The interest of the play ‘s much en hanced by the very elaborate costumes yand scenery. The other plays which were given last night were “The Silent Sistem,’ “ ‘Op o' Me Thumb,” and “Indian Summer.” In this last named p:ay Miss Louise Hilsabeck stood out prom inently as a performer.
