Soule and two songs by the Bismarck Women’s Chorus, Soule’s numbers were “The House by The Side of the Road” and “The Far Away Bells.” The chorus sang “Thanks Be To God” and “A Torrent in Summer.” It was the first public appearance of the chorus which was organized this fall and the new organization scored a big hit with the crowd which gave it a rising vote of thanks for honoring the Lions with its first per- formance.
