Transfers were around 2,500,000 shares, A little stimulation was derived here and there from extra dividend and bright earnings statements. At Little Falls he slugged a filling station attendant, refilled the gas tank and later abandoned the car on the road. Subsequently he stole another car in St. Paul, and drove to Minne- apolis where he got six gallons of gas in a station and left without paying. The state crime bureau took the lad into custody after police arrested him, and announced the boy would be re- turned to Crookston, where authori- ties may prosecute him for car theft.
