This is definitely proved by the long list of items which they want to buy, sell or exchange printed on this page in the annual service offered to Burleigh county farmers by the Bis- marck Tribune in cooperation with the county commissioners and the county agent. The aim of this page is to give farmers a medium whereby they can, without cost to themselves, get in touch with other farmers with whom they can do business'on a mutually Profitable basis, The ads were obtained by the county agent, who sent out a circue lar advising farmers of the service ai of their right to take advantage of it. Under the rules laid down for this service, each notice is terse but come plete, giving addresses and prices where it is necessary or possible to do so, Anything which the farmer wants to advertise is eligible, including land, machinery and equipment, livestock and feed and seed grains. In recent years the service hag Proved a valuable one, particularly that feature which permits of exe change advertisements. Many farme ers have made mutually advantage- ous trades as a result of such public cation in past years. In publishing these advertisements the county agent has made every ef- fort to see that they are listed accur= ately but will not be held responsible for any listing. Neither does he guars antee any goods to be as represented, since he has no personal knowledge of any offers to buy, sell or trade and is merely cooperating in the effort. Of particular importance this year is that section of the list pertaining to seed grains. Putnam expressed the opinion that careful scanning of this list might help farmers to solve problems of this nature more easily than would be possible without it. —_—SEEEEE Farmers—Harness and Cream Separator Oil Per Gallon, (plus tax) Sinclair Refining Co.
