I thought I’d seen and heard all the best, but this man is certainly the tops!” Miss Keeler was sitting on a side- line of one of the sets for “Colleen,” the Warner Brothers musical comedy now showing at the Capitol Theatre. She was watching a lean, red-head- ed, 6-foot specimen of grace, speed and agility, who was whirling, pranc- ing, tapping his way about a hard- wood floor in rehearsal, clad in old slacks and metal-plated shoes, “You're looking at America’s sbest male dancer!” Ruby went on with genuine enthusiasm. . “His tapping is absolutely perfect. There’s not the slightest ‘slur’ nor ‘slide’ sound to a single tap. Each is as clear, distinct and staccato as an individual shot in a machine-gun burst. And besides, he has grace and personality.” “Colleen” is a rollicking, musical comedy with an all star cast includ- ing Dick Powell,. Miss Keeler, Jack Oakie, Joan Blondell, Hugh Herbert, Louise Fazenda and Draper. A company has been formed by ‘the English milk industry for the sole urpose of recovering “lost, strayed, or stolen” bottles and churns. Nearly, 8,008,000 were recovered in 1932.
