The company that administered the coat of tar and feathers is reported to have acted in a business-like man- ner. They appeared in an automobile at Johnson’s house at about 9 o'clock and asked to be directed to a fishing stream in that vicinity. He went with them to show 'them the way and as soon as they were away from the house, Johnson was seized, thrown in to the automobile and taken to a se- cluded spot where the tar and feath- ers weer applied. Johnson did not recognize any of the members of the party and no clue to the perpetrators has been secured. This is the fourth tar and feather party in this section of the state, without any arrests being made by the state.
